Those of you who use Facebook may already have heard from this campaign by Greenpeace UK.
Greenpeace is promoting a Nestle-free Easter because they have incriminating information about the endeavours of Nestle in Indonesia and their repercussions on the orang-outang’s homes.
Nestle ‘s supplies of palm oil -needed for the chocolate goodies- are provided by an palm oil company… that just happens to cut down the forests of Indonesia that are the homes of a specie on the brink of extinction…. the orang-outang.
If you don’t want to be part of this, pledge to have a Nestle-free Easter and go for fair-trade chocolate instead 🙂
